BMW M5 2017 : 600 CHEVAUX ET QUATRE ROUES MOTRICES EN PRÉVISION

Les informations sur la prochaine M5 étaient jusqu’alors remarquablement bien gardées par la marque à l’hélice. C’était sans compter sur nos confrères d’Autocar. Publiant deux « portrait robot » de ce à quoi devrait ressembler la futur M5, ils dévoilent certaines caractéristiques techniques de la grande sportive BMW. Crédible, c’est le terme qu’il convient d’utiliser pour qualifier les deux visuels réalisés par Autocar. On y retrouve une M5 visuellement plus agressive avec une garde au sol très basse. La berline y arbore un bouclier avant aux prises d’air plus larges que la version précédente, et des ouïes latérales façon M2. A l’arrière on reconnait, inchangé, le hayon et les feux de la 540i, le tout agrémenté d’un diffuseur et de 4 sorties d’échappement.

Mercedes and BMW confirm the termination of some models

BMW to launch 40 new or updated models in next 2 years

Having lost the luxury car sales race to Mercedes-Benz in 2016, BMW is planning an aggressive roll-out of new products over the next two years to claw its way back to the top spot. In a press conference held Tuesday in Munich, Germany to outline its financial results, BMW’s CEO Harald Krüger revealed that up to 40 new or updated models will be launched by the end of 2018. The models are for the entire BMW Group and thus represent not only the BMW brand but Mini and Rolls-Royce as well.
